i couldnt sleep so i went outside,
the solitary moonlight bathed the tide,
cant remember the last time i cried,
but ill always remember saying goodbye,

i layed down in my mind,
just thinking bout the time,
we would both look at the sky,
now i realise ive finally said goodbye,

oh only moonlight,
surrounds me now,      

oh why do we always have to fight,
when we know that neither one of us is right,
point is it seems to always end the same,
with you crying on the couch and me stuck out in the rain,

i thought of the painting by Van Gogh "starry night"

i could hear it vaguely- i have sound problems with pc.

the lyrics spoke to me.
